This is true! When you’re cold, your body naturally wants to warm up because it is always trying to find “homeostasis”, which basically means balance. To get warmer, your muscles contract, causing shudder-like movements (shivering), which in turn, increases your body temperature because the muscle activity produces heat! And voilà, your body temperature increases.
