Did you know…fatigue is considered the most common allergic symptom?

When I ask clients if they have fatigue, most will say yes, at least to some degree.  And although emotional stress, dehydration or lack of sleep (amongst other imbalances like adrenal fatigue or thyroid dysfunction) can result in a feeling of tiredness, it could also be a sign of allergies. According to the book “Allergies – Disease in Disguise”, fatigue is the number one sign of allergies. The fatigue, which cannot be relieved by any amount of rest, tends to be worse in the morning and late afternoon.

This doesn’t mean you’ll have the allergy or fatigue forever. Allergies can result from a number of things – eating the same foods every day, suboptimal digestive tracts, lowered immune system, parasites, Candidiasis, yeasts and molds, compromised gut flora (that’s the short list) – each of which can be positively influenced by better lifestyle habits.

Important to note is that an allergic response may not show up immediately after you are exposed to a certain food or chemical or other stressor…it could be 5 days.  So start paying attention to your body and how it reacts to certain foods or stressors, and DOCUMENT what you notice. You might be surprised by how simple it could be to gain back some long lost energy!
