Why stress makes you fat and ruins your health – and what you can do about it. How do you read this statement on the front of this book and not want to learn more?
My interest in wellness started at a very young age, with physical fitness and our ability to repair from injury. As I got older, I became very interested in nutrition. But when I came across this book, it really helped define my business. It helped me to connect the dots between The Top 10 Unhealthy Habits and stress.
My business isn’t solely focused on helping people lose weight. But weight gain (or even weight loss) can be the result of too much stress in the body. Although The Cortisol Connection is written to help people manage stress (and various stressors like diet, exercise, sleep) so they can manage their weight, it is still an excellent read for those who are trying to understand the impact of stress on mood, muscle, digestion, and improving long-term health overall.
